I've had this digicam for a several several weeks and have a combined viewpoint. Here is a conclusion of both the excellent and bad.
Pros:
1) So far the movie excellent is mostly very excellent (but see water natural shade issue).
2) Picture leveling function joints to work very well.
3) Very sensitive handles (such as when changing methods, etc.)
4) Little and useful type element.
5) Low-light is better than predicted (if not driving too much). This is much better than my old CANON HF100.
6) Power supply joints excellent.
Cons:
1) About 10 to 20 % of photographs and movie have an water natural film to the whole world or just white/grey servings of a world. For example, in the gentle part of a activity title jacket. It's not all the time, but for me, it's just a little too consistent. This is the greatest concern for me with this camera. (- 1.5)
2) PRE-RECORD effective symbol is in center of display. This creates it challenging to see a person's deal with (for example). Either there needs to be a clear display option or the symbol needs to be shifted to the side. (- .5)
3) recognizable but modest fan disturbance both while documenting and in the video (much more than my canon though)
4) Eventually left Touching list springs up when at first starting the LCD. Seems like it's in the way when you want to begin documenting. It should standard to the reduced condition. (minor)
5) Touching handles arrows work in reverse for me (i.e. click right and it goes the left list page) (minor)
6) Power supply stays out just a little making it a little bit unpleasant to get to history option. (minor)
I'm finished up coming due to the water natural shade concern. I tried an change first but that device demonstrated the same issue. It was not an simple choice with so many excellent stuff going for this digicam, especially with the photograph leveling and low gentle efficiency. I will proceed with my mature canon for now. I would definitely repurchase if the water natural is ever settled. If your okay with an temporary misfire of water natural then definitely consider this digicam, it's good but not necessarily the best video camera.
